LGBTQIA+ and sexuality.

Sex therapy & guidance

Whether you’re lesbian, gay, bi, trans, intersex, queer or asexual, or still figuring it out: your questions about sex and intimacy deserve a place where you don’t have to explain or defend anything.

When your questions don’t fit
the standard picture.

A lot of information about sex quietly assumes one kind of couple. You don’t always recognise yourself in it. And if you’ve often had to explain or defend who you are, that can also affect how free you feel in sex and intimacy.

Your question doesn’t have to be about your identity. Sometimes it’s simply about less desire, pain or talking about sex. Then above all you want someone who understands your situation, without you having to give a lecture first.

You might recognise:

Figuring out who you’re attracted to
Sex and intimacy when your body doesn’t (fully) match your gender
Little or no desire, and wondering whether you’re somewhere on the asexual spectrum
Coming out within an existing relationship
Shame or insecurity from what you were taught growing up
Questions about open or other relationship forms

“There’s no standard version of sex you have to live up to. We start with how it is for you.”

You decide which words we use: for your body, your relationships and your desire. I ask rather than fill it in for you. That way, the focus stays on what matters to you.

How I work

Your words, your pace. You don’t need a label to come. We explore what’s going on, without rushing and without assumptions.

No assumptions

I ask what you call things, which pronouns you use and what matters to you, instead of filling it in for you.

Room to explore

Doubt and change are welcome. You don’t need to know who or what you are before we can talk about it.

Alongside other care

Are you in a transition process? Then your gender team remains your point of contact for the medical side. I’m happy to think along with you about sexuality and intimacy.

On your own or together

On your own, or with your partner(s).

Whether you’re single, have a steady partner or several relationships: everyone is welcome.

Starting on your own

Nice if you first want to work out for yourself what you feel and want, at your own pace.

or

Together with your partner(s)

Valuable if you want to change something together, or if a coming out or a new discovery affects your relationship.
